LinkedIn Application Data Handling
We operate an internal application called ICNBUYS Content Publisher that uses the official LinkedIn API. This section describes how that application handles data.
What the application does
ICNBUYS Content Publisher is an internal tool used solely by our own team to publish posts to our own LinkedIn account through the official LinkedIn API. It is not offered to the public and does not process data from any third party.
Data we access
When authorized by our own account administrator, the application accesses only:
- Basic profile information of the authorizing account (name, headline, photo, email) via OpenID Connect, used exclusively to identify the author of posts we publish ourselves.
- Permission to create posts on behalf of that account (
w_member_social).
We do not access, store, or share data about any other LinkedIn member. We do not read connections, messages, or contacts.
Data storage and retention
OAuth tokens are stored locally on our own secured workstation and are used only to authenticate publishing requests to LinkedIn. Tokens are retained until they expire or authorization is revoked, whichever comes first. No LinkedIn data is transferred to any third party.
